POWNAL — First Parish Church invites the public to a baked bean supper on Saturday, Aug. 18.
The church is located at the intersection of Hallowell Road and Elmwood Road in the center of Pownal. Sittings are at 5 and 6 p.m., with ticket prices of $7 and $3.50 for children younger than 12.
Patrons can enjoy two kinds of beans, salads and spaghetti as well as pickles, pies and cakes.
Tickets are available at the door or by phone reservation at 688-4433.
