WOOLWICH
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department reports that the principal of Woolwich Central School on Nequasset Road found several window screens punctured on the north side of the building and reported the vandalism to police Thursday morning.
Chief Deputy Brett Strout said no entry was made into the school, however.
The screens appeared to be punctured but there was no evidence that any attempt was made to get into the school, Strout said Friday.
He had no estimated cost for the damage to the screens.
The sheriff ’s department is monitoring the school, Strout said.
