Hot Shots grab first victory
Hot Shots got their first win of the season as they held off JATR, 85-76. After a high-scoring first half the Hot Shot defense held JATR to only 17 second half points in picking up the important first win of the season. Heath Martell was huge in the win, scoring 26 points, while teammate Taylor Valente added 23. Jamie Coll led JATR with 28 and Jeff Hogan chipped in with 19.
All Aspects Plumbing and Heating kept up their winning ways as they downed Force Green, 83-74, in a hard-fought defensive game. The difference in the game yet again was the stifling defense of AA. Force Green only had 24 second half points but they kept the game in the single digits for most of the half. The returning Jeff Manchester led the way with 22 for the winners, while Caleb Sayward added 20. Big Kyle Robbins powered his way to 19 and Adam Jensen scored 19 for FG.
VTEC cruised to another easy win, this time over SKB, 95-60. VTEC kept their foot on the throttle as the game was never in doubt. Matt Clement scored a game-high 29 and Tyer True added 22 for VTEC. Bill Hardwick had 20 and John Bagshaw 15 for SKB.
Class Acts made it two in a row as they cruised past Thatchers, 102-67. The winners had four players with 21 or more points, led by Nick Jobin’s 32. CJ Vose had 23 for CA. Eric Strout led Thatchers with 19 and Elier Acevedo had 15.
