
Eagle Scouts and those wishing to celebrate their achievement are invited to attend, news release states.
To earn Scouting’s highest award, the release continues, “these young men had to earn a minimum of 21 merit badges, serve in leadership positions in their troop and complete a major community service project.”
Briggs repaired and improved a trail at the Casco Bay YMCA. Larkins built an informational kiosk and Baker repaired and improved the Ridge Trail at Freeport Historical Society’s Pettingil Farm.
All three are graduates of Freeport High School. Briggs, a 2011 graduate, and Larkins, a 2012 graduate, are currently enrolled at Southern Maine Community College. Baker, a 2012 graduate, will attend Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall.
