TOPSHAM

The superstars of the National Wrestling Alliance On Fire professional wrestling promotion will take the Topsham Fair by storm for the third straight year with Fair Brawl 2012.

This year, NWA On Fire will feature its rough and tumble, slammin’ action on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m.

With its ring set up in the demolition derby area, NWA On Fire plans on kicking the two-hour show off with the third annual Topsham Fair Battle Royal, as wrestlers far and wide will battle it out for a chance at the NWA On Fire heavyweight title, currently held by Firebrand and Mr. Intensity Brian Fury.

“Brian Fury has beaten everyone who has stood in his path since winning the NWA On Fire championship late in 2011, but someone will have the ultimate chance of ending his title run at the Topsham Fair,” said in-ring announcer “The Connman.”

The wrestling show is free with a paid admission to the Topsham Fair.

Wrestlers on the bill include Sebastian Cruz, Scotty Slade, Nick Fahrenheit, Jivin’ Jimmy, the tag teams of Da Hoodz (Chris Pyro and Davey Ka$h) and the NWA On Fire tag team champions the M1nute Men (Terrific Tommy and Delicious Devin), newcomer JC Bouchard, the East Coast Cowboy, Ray Ray Marz, Steve Off and several others.

“NWA On Fire talent is once again honored to a part of the Topsham Fair, and we hope wrestling fans far and wide make it a point to be there on Thursday night, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m.,” said The Connman. “Come early, ride the rides, get your share of fair food, take in the art and crafts, watch the oxen pull competitions and win some prizes, but at 7 p.m., make sure you are ringside as NWA On Fire superstars bring it like only they can.”
