PORTLAND — The Portland Sea Dogs (50-62) took two out of three games from the the Akron Aeros (66-45), with a 3-0 Eastern League victory before a soldout crowd at Hadlock Field Thursday afternoon.
Drake Britton and two relievers combined to shutout the Aeros while Jackie Bradley Jr. led the offensive attack with a 2-for-4 performance with a home run and two runs scored.
Jackie Bradley Jr. led-off the game for Portland by depositing a T.J. House offering into the U.S. Cellular Pavilion.
Britton (3-4) fired five shutout innings scattering six hits. He walked three and struck out six.
