HARPSWELL — Cundy’s Harbor Community Church will host several events during Cundy’s Harbor Days on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday there will be a quilt show at the church, sponsored by The Peacemakers quilting group.
On Sunday morning at 8 a.m., the Blessing of the Fleet will take place at Watson’s Wharf. The public is invited to attend and commercial fishing boats are welcome to join the parade of boats to be blessed.
There will be no morning worship service but there will be a bluegrass concert with the LeClairs at 1 p.m. at the Community Hall in Cundy’s Harbor.
Other events and activities are planned by other community groups, including a gelato social at the Cundy’s Harbor Library today at 4 p.m. A square dance follows in the Community Hall at 6 p.m.
A parade is planned Saturday at 10 a.m. In the afternoon, there will be a lobster luncheon at Community Hall, and lobster crate and blind rowing races at Holbrook’s Wharf.
