The National Republican Congressional Committee will begin running an ad against U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud, D-Maine, on Thursday. 

The ad blasts Michaud by attempting to link him with President Obama’s positions on the national debt and other "job-killing" policies.  

The NRCC’s ad buy isn’t on the Federal Elections Commision independent expenditure report yet, but a spokesman for the committee said the committee spent "five figures."
