WOOLWICH
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department has charged a Brunswick man with terrorizing after he allegedly threatened a friend regarding how they would divide their medical marijuana.
Alex Coron, 34, of Greenwood Road in Brunswick was issued a summons Friday for threatening that stemmed from a complaint the sheriff ’s department received early on July 26. Chief Deputy Brett Strout said Coron and a Woolwich friend who lives where the medical marijuana was grown, were feuding over how their medical marijuana was going to be divided. “They both have legal permits to have the medical marijuana and they had a dispute over who should have how much of the marijuana and it became an argument and Mr. Coron made a verbal threat for which he’s been summonsed.”
Deputy Mark Anderson investigated the case. Coron has a West Bath District Court date of Sept. 18.
