The North Pownal United Methodist Church on Lawrence Road, will be holding a public baked bean and spaghetti supper on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tickets are adults $6, children $3, and kids under 3 are free. Town looking
for RSU rep
The town of Pownal is looking for a volunteer to serve one year of a three-year term for a vacant seat on the RSU 5 Board of Directors.

Food pantry open on Tuesdays
The North Pownal United Methodist Church on Lawrence Road has new hours for distributing food from its pantry. It is now open every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.- noon. Volunteers never know from week to week what will be available, but the pantry usually gets different kinds of breads, produce, desserts, etc. All are welcome.
