On July 17, two members of The Portland Country Club, Matt Parker of Falmouth and Travis Ferrante of Portland, defied 17-million-to-1 odds to make two holes-in-one within seconds of each other on the fourth hole of The Portland Country Club. Portland Country Club members, Greg Pirone and Dave Hanson, witnessed the two holes-in-one. Pirone also put his ball within a foot of the cup, narrowly missing a trifecta.
