Learn about nature / 2 p.m. in Freeport
Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park is offering free nature programs daily through Labor Day. The programs include nature walks and talks about wildlife. Programs last an hour and are suitable for all ages. Meet at the benches at the park’s second parking lot. Today’s program is about the ecology along Casco Bay. Pemaquid Paddlers / 9 a.m. in Damariscotta
The midcoast paddling troupe will be checking out Damariscotta Lake. The public boat launch is off Route 213, two miles from the intersection of Route 213 and 215. Participants must provide their own canoe or kayak and wear a life jacket. All trips are free. Rain or shine. Call 677-6380.
