Good concert

Maine singer and songwriter David Good will entertain in a free concert 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at Riverbank Park on Main Street.

Members of the American Legion Post 62 will sell food and beverages. The concert is part of a summer series on Wednesdays that continues through Aug. 15.

Class of ’62 ready

for reunion

The Westbrook High School class of 1962 will celebrate its 50th reunion at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Elks Club in Portland.

Reunion organizer Bill Hebert said Tuesday that class president Ken Cumberland and his wife will travel from Florida to be among the 90 classmates and spouses planning to attend the reunion.

for class of ‘50

The Westbrook High School class of 1950 will hold a mini reunion from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at Fireside Inn & Suites, 81 Riverside St. (Maine Turnpike Exit 48, formerly Exit 8), Portland.

Foye golf tourney

The first Jimmy Foye Golf Tournament will be at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Gorham Country Club.

The tournament for teams of four will be a scramble format and a shotgun start.

Boisvert on dean’s list

Deanna Boisvert has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at University of New England in Maine. Boisvert is the daughter of Kelly and Gary Boisvert of Westbrook.

A graduate of Westbrook High School in 2009, Boisvert is majoring in the nursing program.
