Theft – A property owner complained of the theft of a lawnmower and a washing machine from a rental unit.

Thursday, July 5

Vandalism – A Naples resident complained of “criminal mischief to a motor vehicle” parked at Kettle Cove.

Friday, July 6

Theft – After a Scott Dyer Road resident complained that a private contractor had taken a deposit then failed to show to complete the job, Sgt. Kevin Kennedy met with the contractor and advised him “to reimburse the victim or be prosecuted for theft by deception.”

Vandalism – Three Broad Cove residents complained of damage done to mailboxes sometime during the previous night.

Burglary – Three Brentwood East residences were reportedly burglarized during the previous night. A TV and prescription medications were taken from one of the homes. A cell phone, an iPod and a Kindle were taken from another.

Sunday, July 8

Theft – A blue and gray Giant Cross bicycle was reported taken from a home on Ocean House Road.
