PORTLAND – Traffic is back to norm on Interstate 295 North after a multi-vehicle crash had caused delays.

Around 5:30 p.m., rescue crews responded to a crash on Tukey’s Bridge on Interstate 295 that involved four to five cars. Tukey’s Bridge is near Exit 8, and the crash occured in the northbound lanes.

At least one person reported injuries, but the extent is not yet known, according to dispatchers.

By 6:30 p.m., eyewitnesses reported that traffic was flowing normally.

Police haven’t yet released information on what caused the crash, or how many people were involved.
