BATH — Dennis Unger, director of University College at Bath/Brunswick, will offer a free three-session workshop on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), beginning July 10 at the Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St.
Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. July 10, 12 and 17.
The MBTI workshop is “designed to help an individual learn more about his or her personality and learning style, discover the role of personality in the career planning process, and explore the relationship between personality type and career satisfaction,” according to a release from Unger.
In the first session participants complete the MBTI assessment. In the second session, Unger provides the framework for understanding individual results. In the final session participants will connect their personality preference with the career development process.
“The MBTI is a powerful tool for gaining greater insight into your own personality,” Unger said in the release.
Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
