BATH — Conley & Wirick is pleased to announce the addition of Evan Smith as new associate attorney with the firm.
According to a news release, Smith’s areas of practice include family law, personal injury, civil litigation and business law.
Smith received his J.D. degree from New York Law School in 1994. After law school, he served as a law clerk to New York Supreme Court Justice Elliott Wilk and then as a commercial litigation attorney.
Smith moved to Maine in 1998 and was associated with Friedman, Gaythwaite, Wolf and Leavitt in Portland and specialized in product liability defense and commercial litigation. Since 2009, he had been associated with Shankman and Associates in Topsham.
Smith is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Maine and New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
