Ordained in 2006, Couch, who has been assistant pastor of the Windham Church of the Nazarene for the last couple of years, is married to Dan Couch, who was the pastor of the Saco Church of the Nazarene for several years. They have three children; Nathan, 19, JoyEl, 17, and Aaron, 14, along with Jacob Martel, who is 16.
Christina and her family have been deeply involved in Bible quizzing competitions for years in Maine and the Northeast, stemming from her own success as three time state champion as a teen.
During her time as assistant pastor, Couch brought many of the morning messages, helped with the discipleship of new Christians and mentored them as they grew spiritually.
According to a news release, Christina and Dan Couch are committed to working with the community of Bowdoinham in ways that will encourage people spiritually, praying for their needs as they become known, and setting up small group Bible studies for those who would like to learn more about the Bible, among other things.
The morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. To contact the Rev. Couch, call her cell at 351-0289.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
