BATH — Betsy Pare, owner of Maine Shades, recently announced the expansion of her business, according to a news release.
Currently located within the Nobleboro Restoration Center, Gayle Hunt, owner of Ornament Home & Garden in Bath, will host an opening for Maine Shades on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at her store at 11 Centre St.
There will be door prizes, demonstrations, sweet treats and a free lampshade raffle.
Maine Shades is known for contemporary and traditional handcrafted lampshades. Also, it repairs older lampshades as well as lamp rewiring and restoration.
Also in attendance will be the husband and wife team of Seawicks Candle Co., Michael and Cara Gaffney, and local Bath jewelery designer Megan Stelzer of Ashley H Designs.
