PHIPPSBURG

A Phippsburg man crashed a truck along Route 209 early Wednesday morning.

Chief Deputy Brett Strout said Wednesday that the crash remains under investigation.

The incident was reported at 12:31 a.m. Wednesday. Strout said 32-year-old Nicholas Gilliam of 460 Sebasco Road rolled his truck on a sharp corner along Route 209 just south of Bisson’s Center Store. He was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, where he was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.

Deputy Matt Shiers responded to the crash, along with Phippsburg Fire and Rescue.
