PORTLAND (AP) — A Maine brewery says it’s hooking up with a California winery to expand its sales in that state.
Shipyard Brewing Co. in Portland says Fess Parker Winery has agreed to distribute Shipyard products to stores and restaurants throughout California.
Shipyard sells about 40,000 cases a year in California and hopes to boost that number by 25 percent with the new agreement.
Sales and marketing director Bruce Forsley told the Portland Press Herald that Shipyard began working with the winery about four years ago when Shipyard’s distribution company began marketing Fess Parker wines in northern New England.
