BRUNSWICK — Inclement weather and the threat of lightning postponed several athletic events Tuesday for Mid-coast region teams.
In baseball and softball, Mt. Ararat at Lawrence and Morse at Maranacook were postponed until today.
The Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls tennis championship at Brunswick (12-0) with Hampden Academy (11-1) has been canceled with the host Dragons declared conference champions.
In lacrosse, Cony girls at Brunswick, Oxford Hills boys at Mt. Ararat, Mt. Ararat girls at Messalonskee and Morse girls at Gardiner (new time 3:30 p.m.) will all be played today.
The Greely girls lacrosse game at Freeport was changed to the Bowdoin College turf on Tuesday.
