Out of the 450 shoppers that visited Now You’re Cooking during its 12th anniversary weekend celebration, more than 100 won prizes that included food processors, cookware, espresso makers, cutlery, gadgets and tableware.

The Front Street store kicked off the celebration by hosting a wine tasting evening, featuring wines from Italy and food prepared by local Highland Foods, maker of Maple Pepper.
There were several events and demonstrations during the anniversary weekend, featuring Swiss Diamond cookware, Nespresso espresso machines, Vitamix blending, knife sharpening, soda making with Sodastream, Zoku popsicles, and even a paella competition.
In addition to the 100 raffle prizes awarded during the anniversary, Now You’re Cooking staff gave out another 500 freebies, including Microplane zesters, Architec prep bowls, Kyocera ceramic peelers and Caldrea dish soaps.
“We had the support of about 40 vendors sending us over $8,000 of goods,” said Fear. “Some of them came to the store to conduct in-store demos, too.”
