WISCASSET — Seeds of Knowledge Education Center is a new learning center in Wiscasset where families can find academic support and enrichment for their children in grades K-6.
According to a news release, Tanya Albert and Lisa Truesdell are the founders of Seeds of Knowledge. They are experienced teachers and are providing enjoyable and meaningful programs for children from both home-school and formal school settings. These programs include core academic and enrichment workshops, study clubs, tutoring, and much more.
There will be two workshops offered in June.
“Fun with Physics: What’s the Matter?” will take place on June 7. Children will explore the properties of matter through hands-on experiments and investigations.
“Geology: The Dirt on Dirt” will take place on June 14. In this workshop, children will investigate soil to discover its physical properties and learn about its vital role on our planet.
