TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighthgrade softball team earned its second victory with an 11-7 win over Bath on Thursday.
Sara Lamb picked up the mound win, striking out two and allowing one walk. She received support defensively from Maddie Alexander, Keeley Bartolini, Sharley Moreland and Maggie Lanoue in the infield, and outfielders Rachel Eggleston, Bailey Hugg and Ashley Prout.
Catcher Taylor Leech had a standout game behind the plate.
