CLAREMONT, Calif. — Bowdoin sophomore Coby Horowitz placed sixth in the 1500-meter final at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday.
Horowitz recorded a time of a 3:57.06 to earn All-American status for the third consecutive season. Horowitz was 13th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country meet last fall and raced with Bowdoin’s winning Distance Medley Relay team at the Indoor Track & Field nationals in the winter.
He is the first Bowdoin athlete to achieve All-American status in all three seasons since Darcy Storin was named All-American in crosscountry, indoor track and outdoor track in 1995-96.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
