
Moltz is unit chief of Outpatient Behavioral Health at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
The award presentation was made at April’s annual membership meeting of the Maine Association of Psychiatric Physicians.
Moltz received the award for “providing and advocating excellent treatment for Maine citizens with psychiatric disorders.” He has been practicing psychiatry for 35 years, 22 of which have been in Maine.
Mid Coast Hospital’s Outpatient Behavioral Health department includes the Addition Resource Center (ARC). The ARC offers a full range of professional treatment services for persons with alcohol or drug-related problems. ARC staff also provides family and co-dependency services to those affected by someone else’s alcohol or drug use. The ARC also treats people with substance abuse problems and mental health issues.
