BRUNSWICK — The 18th annual Brunswick Bike Rodeo and Family Safety Day will take place Saturday in the Walmart parking lot on Bath Road.
The free event, from 9 a.m. to noon, will include bike safety inspections; drawings for bicycles, gift certificates and prizes; a helmet giveaway; bike registrations; and hot dogs, pizza, soda and ice cream.
McGruff, Crusher and Sparky the Fire Dog will visit, and smoke house demonstrations and a bike obstacle course will be available.
Each child completing the bike obstacle course will receive an event tote bag. Rain date is Sunday at the same location.
