BRUNSWICK — A Cumberland County grand jury indicted a 46-yearold Brunswick man for felony aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed another man in the neck with a pair of scissors in March.
Roger Walker, 46, of 101 Merrymeeting Road, Brunswick, was indicted Friday on the Class B felony charge. He remains in Cumberland County Jail today.
If convicted, he faces 10 years in prison.
Brunswick police officers responded to a call just before 9:30 p.m. on March 26 after a witness reported that Walker had allegedly stabbed a 43- year-old man who also listed 101 Merrymeeting Road as his residence, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department said at the time.
The victim was treated at Maine Medical Center.
Walker had left the building when police arrived, but Sgt. Paul Hansen located him nearby at the former Jordan Acres Elementary School building and arrested him without incident.
