Cumberland is fortunate to have Jeff Porter running for the SAD 51 School Board.  This is an assignment to which he brings a strong community perspective and a wealth of experience.

Jeff is a product of the school system. His children have progressed through various stages of the same system. Jeff and his wife, Mary, recognize the importance and value of a first-rate education for our children and the broader community.

Jeff is not new to channeling his energies to community service.  He recently completed 12 years as a councilor, and served as chairman multiple times.

Professionally, Jeff has been very involved in business development activities. He will help us to continue providing cost-effective, high-quality education for the children of Cumberland.
