FREEPORT — The Lighthouse Events has announced several Christian music concerts planned for 2012, including two this month.
Grammy-winning recording artist Laura Story returns to Maine for a concert next Thursday in Sanford. Story, who wrote “Indescribable,” “Mighty to Save” and “Blessings,” will perform at 7 p.m. at the Curtis Lake Christian Church, 38 Westview Drive. Tickets are $15.
Perennial chart-toppers Phillips, Craig and Dean are scheduled to perform at First Baptist Church of Portland on May 24. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $50 for gold circle and $20 for general admission.
Later this summer, Building 429 will make the first of two Maine stops in 2012. On Aug. 3 the group will perform in Charleston at the Charleston Pentecostal Church, 185 Main Road. The 7 p.m. show costs $15.
The group will return Oct. 27 as one of two opening acts for the Newsboys. That show will also include Luminate. Tickets for the 6 p.m. show are $40 for gold circle and $22 for general seating. Groups of 10 or more pay $17 each. The concert is billed as a family fun night with a bounce house and treats and candy.
