SACO – Firefighters remain at the scene of a fire that gutted a single-family home at 55 Common St. tonight.

The home is owned by Robert Sink and his wife, Lisa Perry, who have a 5-year-old son, Owen Perry.

The fire started just after 8 p.m., and drew about 50 onlookers and an estimated 30 fire and rescue personnel to the area.

Robert Sink watched Wednesday night as firefighters knocked holes in his windows and roof to put out the flames. He said he and his son were playing a video game when flames shot out of the socket near the TV.

The family also has a dog, which is safe.
