READFIELD — The Morse High School jayvee softball team fell to Maranacook, 22-2 on Monday as the hosts scored seven runs in the second inning and 11 in the third.
Morse pitcher Jocelyn Bernier went two innings, giving up four hits with 11 runs and six walks. Micailia Barone went two innings on three hits, 11 runs, seven walks and two strikeouts.
Amellia Barrett, Leslie Wyman and Christina LeCalvez each singled for the Shipbuilders.
