BRUNSWICK — Brandon Hess, a Boy Scout in Troop 109 from Lisbon Falls, will be collecting unserviceable American flags to do a proper flag retirement ceremony as part of his Eagle Scout project.
He is coordinating his efforts with the Veterans of Foreign Wars group in Lisbon.
Anyone wishing to drop off a flag can do so in the decorated receptacle at Pizza Hut at Cook’s Corner in Brunswick until May 15. Or, individuals may call Hess at 353-6129 to arrange for pick up.
