BRUNSWICK — As part of its ongoing 20th anniversary celebration, Wild Oats Bakery and Café in the Tontine Mall on Maine Street will hold a fundraiser for the Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA) on Sunday.
A portion of bakery sales between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday will be donated to CREA.
The alliance will set up a table with information about its programs at Wild Oats on Sunday.
“Wild Oats appreciates CREA’s creative energy and leadership as they connect our community to nature on a variety of levels,” a release about the fundraiser states. “Their community programs, school programs, camps and hiking trails are just a few of the wonderful ways that CREA makes all of our lives better.”
In addition to a donation based on that day’s profits, Wild Oats will offer special incentives for those who wear CREA T-shirts or bring their favorite picture of the Cathance Preserve.
Wild Oats will conduct a cash donation raffle for two CREA summer camp scholarships and give out coupons to customers for use during the following month.
