Ada L. (Field) McInnes, 92, of Eliot, died after a period of failing health, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Portsmouth, N.H. A period of visitation for Ada will be held this Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road in Kittery. An 11 a.m. graveside service for Ada will be held Thursday the 26th at Hope Cemetery in Kennebunk. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. Care for Ada and her family has been entrusted to the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home of Kittery.
Cora Rita Whitney, 69, a resident of Kennebunk, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness. Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, where a celebration of life funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband. Should friends desire, donations in Cora’s memory may be made to the Animal Welfare Society, P.O.
