BATH — The local Habitat for Humanity chapter will hold its second 5K Home Run and 19th annual Spring Walk on Sunday.
These events form the chapter’s major annual fundraiser to support affordable housing in the 31 Mid-coast communities. This year’s run will kick off at 9 a.m. on a USA Track and Field-certified route that winds through historic Bath and along the Kennebec River.
Online registration is under way. Race-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
The walk will begin at 2 p.m. and will follow the same scenic route as the run.
The events will begin and end under a tent at the Habitat administrative offices at 108 Centre St. Area churches will provide refreshments.
