BATH — Tri County Literacy is sponsoring a free World Book Night on Monday at Patten Free Library, 33 Summer St.
The celebration will include music by The Big Chips Trio, food, drawings for free books and literacy information.
In addition, there will be author presentations and book singings by Monica Wood, author of “When We Were Kennedys,” “Any Bitter Thing” and “ Ernie’s Ark”; Jim Baumer, author of “Moxie: Maine in a Bottle” and “ When Towns Had Teams”; and Henry Bird, author of “Ride the Wind.”
Organizers will recognize volunteers and have also planned a book swap table. Everyone is encouraged to bring some books and swap them.
