
Polly was born on Jan. 12, 1911, in Orono, the daughter of Angus Burden and Rose LeClair. She attended Morse High School where she was the vice president of her class, leaving her junior year due to her mother’s death.
Polly married Abbott H. Redlon on Nov. 10, 1932.
She is survived by her son, Richard O. Redlon and his wife Marion of Bath; grandchildren, Stephen A. Redlon and his wife Julie of Stratham, N.H., and Susan R. Broomhead and her husband Ted of Barrington, R.I.; and great-grandchildren, Meaghan and Zachary Redlon, and Lily, Grace and Piper Broomhead.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Richard O. Redlon Jr.; and six brothers and sisters.
Polly was employed for many years at Senter’s Department Store in Brunswick and at Sebasco Lodge. She was loved by many due to her ability to find something nice to say about anyone, and never found fault with anyone or anything.
She lived many happy years at the Anchorage and the Plant Home in Bath. Her last stay was at the Coastal Manor in Yarmouth where she received very loving care.
Burial and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetary in Bath. Arrangements by Desmond Funeral Home in Bath.
