Gospel Music Association Artist of the Year Francesca Battistelli and Adam Cappa, “one of the hottest artists in Christian music right now,” will open for Camp, according to promoter Jeff Wall of TheLighthouseEvents.com.
Wall says tickets are still available for the April 26 show at South Portland Church of the Nazarene. Tickets are $27 for the 7 p.m. show.
According to Wall, Cappa, whose “The Rescue” is getting air play now, will open with about a three-song set, followed by about five or six songs by Battistelli. Camp will play a full set. Fans can expect about a two-and-a-half-hour show.
Next month, megastar MercyMe will bring its “The Hurt and The Healer Live” tour to the University of Southern Maine’s Costello Sports Complex in Gorham.
The May 4 show will also include guest artists Christ August and Moriah Peters.
That show will benefit the USM basketball program and feature WCSH TV’s Lee Golberg as guest emcee. “He’s a huge MercyMe fan,” said Wall.
Tickets for the May 4 show are $60 for gold circle seats, and $25 for general admission.
