Adam Bailey, York, junior, pitcher/first base: He had a 2-0 record in five appearances. With a year’s experience, Bailey could be the team’s go-to pitcher.
Grayson Beressi, Falmouth, senior, outfield/pitcher: A three-year starter, Beressi batted .306 with six doubles and five stolen bases last season. He will play center field and bat third.
Joe Cronin, Scarborough, senior, pitcher/shortstop: Cronin led the Telegram League in triples with five last season while batting .290. He added two doubles and two home runs. Part of a strong pitching rotation, he was 2-0 last season.
Nick DiBiase, Deering, senior, pitcher/outfield: DiBiase is expected to be the mainstay of the pitching staff. He finished with a 2-2 record and struck out 27 in 311/3 innings last season. He batted .391.
Louie DiStasio, Cheverus, senior, pitcher/shortstop: DiStasio batted .418 and had a 3-0 pitching record in helping the Stags win the Class A state title. He finished with two doubles, three triples and a home run. He struck out 33 batters in 27 innings.
Louie DiTomasso, Wells, senior, catcher: DiTomasso batted .370 with four home runs to spark Wells last season. He’s a good RBI guy and will bat third in the lineup. His skill in managing the game as a catcher will help the team.
Cody Dube, Windham, senior, pitcher/shortstop: One of the best players in the Telegram League, Dube is strong in all facets of the game. He batted .365, and led the team in hits and extra-base hits. As a pitcher, he consistently throws in the mid- to high-80s.

Jeff Gelinas, Thornton, junior, pitcher/first base: His pitching record of 1-4 last season was deceiving because he pitched against all the contenders. What isn’t deceiving was his fastball, which accounted for 37 strikeouts in 36 innings. He will play first base.
Tom Hazelton, Bonny Eagle, junior, pitcher: He will be the Scots’ No. 1 pitcher. His 1-1 record of last season included a win over Scarborough. Hazelton is effective because he knows how to mix his pitches to keep hitters off balance.
Kyle Heath, Westbrook, sophomore, catcher: Heath made the Telegram League’s Cumberland County all-rookie team. Solid behind the plate and a good hitter, Heath will be a key to the Blue Blazes’ chances.
Brendan Horton, South Portland, senior, pitcher/outfield: Horton had a strong sophomore season but missed last season. A strong hitter, he’s one of the Red Riots’ most talented players. He looks to help the team with his pitching and hitting.
