Whitney Dano of Topsham was named to the fall 2011 semester dean’s list at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. Dano is a sophomore majoring in sociology in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences.
Austin Walker, a Topsham resident and senior at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., was recently selected to attend the Clinton Global Initiative University. He recognized for his commitment to engage youth in rural Kenya with his project, Kenyan Youth Initiatives.
