Science teacher Shari Tempeton explains one aspect of her course in forensic science to freshman Gage Shutte during the Wiscasset High School Academic “Road Show” on March 21. Teachers each presented visual displays and other information so that students in grades 9, 10 and 11 could explore course offerings for the fall. Students began registering classes on Friday. This is the first year the teachers have presented their information via the Academic “Road Show.” Teachers then met with parents of their students for the next two evenings to ensure that parents were informed of their child’s progress in their individual spring semester courses.
