BRUNSWICK — A Matter of Balance class to address falling concerns among older people will be offered at the Mid Coast Senior Health Center, 58 Baribeau Drive. Sessions will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays from April 5 through May 24.
“Matter of Balance is a nationally recognized program led by a trained facilitator and offered to a maximum group of 12,” a Mid Coast Senior Health Center release states. “The class teaches how to view falls as controllable, to set goals for increasing activity, to make changes to reduce fall risk at home, and introduces exercises to increase strength and balance.”
A $15 registration includes a notebook and snacks. Register by calling 729-8033.
