Ben & Jerry’s, 9 Nathan Nye St., will participate in the company’s annual Free Cone Day from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The shop will offer free ice cream cones to all customers and will feature new flavors based on Greek frozen yogurt.
Those new flavors include Raspberry Fudge Chunk, Banana Peanut Butter, Blueberry Vanilla Graham and Vanilla.
This year, the Freeport location also will collect donations to benefit Freeport Community Services.
“It’s the perfect opportunity for us employees to rally together, scoop lots of free cones and support the same people who support us every day,” said John Luttrell, manager of the Freeport Scoop Shop, in a press release.
