VERNON, Conn. — Northeast Christians At Work is sponsoring the 13th annual Joy At Work Week from Palm Sunday through Easter. The group is providing free poster, sticker and church bulletin artwork on its website.
According to the group’s founder, Drew Crandall, Joy At Work Week encourages working Christians from all traditions and denominations to take the joy of the Lord into their workplaces.
“If we really believe what we say we believe,” he said, “that our sins are forgiven by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, then we should be the most joyful people where we work. A consistently crabby, grumpy Christian is a contradiction of terms.”
Founded in 2000, Northeast Christians At Work is an allvolunteer workplace ministry that joyfully makes, motivates and matures Christians in New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For details, please call toll-free 1-800-JOY-9075 or visit www.ChristAtWork.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
