HARPSWELL — Harpswell’s commercial shellfish lottery will be held Friday for both residents and non-residents.
Town Clerk Rosalind Knight said that at least one license will be up for lottery due to the death of one license-holder.
The lottery will begin at 5 p.m. for residents and 5:30 p.m. for non-residents. Knight said that names will be drawn even if no licenses are available to create a waiting list.
The lottery will be held at the Harpswell Town Office, 263 Mountain Road.
