HARPSWELL — The first of three public budget forums on the School Administrative District 75 proposed budget for 2012-13 will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at Harpswell Community School, 308 Harpswell Islands Road.
The next budget forum will be held Tuesday at Bowdoin Central School, 1460 Main St., and the third will take place April 5 at Williams-Cone Elementary School, which is located at 19 Perkins St., Topsham. Those meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. as well.
According to the school board’s Finance Committee agenda, the Finance Committee is scheduled to meet April 10 to discuss and finish a final budget draft incorporating changes resulting from the budget hearings, and then present a final draft budget to the school board April 12. The school board is scheduled to consider final budget approval for April 26.
