BUXTON – After three years on community television, twins Dianne Senechal, a Buxton selectwoman, and her sister, Donna Sawyer of Limington, are celebrating with a live show to benefit charity at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at The Old White Church, 15 Salmon Falls Road, Buxton.
The twins’ “Garden Thyme” TV show has aired for three years on Saco River Community Television based in Hollis. The cable TV outlet serves six communities – Buxton, Hollis, Limerick, Limington, Standish and Waterboro. The station is broadcasting the twins’ Saturday special live.
Their TV show is about backyard gardening and begins its fourth season on the community TV outlet.
The proceeds from Saturday’s live performance will benefit “Keep The Heat On” in Buxton and “Bottles for Fuel” in Standish, providing free heating oil for the elderly in the two towns.
The live show will feature selected clips from the 90 shows aired during the past three seasons of “Garden Thyme” before a live audience.
“Saco River Community Television, Grammie Donna and Miss Dianne have been working hard to produce a live stage show for charity,” Senechal said in a statement.
Tickets are $10; for reservations, call 929-6472.
