VERO BEACH, FL — Elizabeth “Betty” M. Oliver age 92, of Vero Beach, FL. and Bath, ME. died March 10, 2012.
Betty was born in Brunswick February 4, 1920 the daughter of Arthur and Emma Fournier Doyon.
Betty was married to George Oliver in 1944, in Savannah, GA. They resided in Bath, ME for many years. In the late 1960’s they traveled to Florida and eventually moved to Vero Beach to enjoy their retirement. Betty worked for many years as a practical nurse. She was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach, where her services will be held.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years in 2004.
She is survived by her son, James E. Oliver and his wife Jonice, two grandchildren, James Jr. and Jean- Ann Williams and one greatgrandchild, Elizabeth J. Williams all of Bath, ME. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Rita Moriaty of Burlington, MA. and a brother Marcel Doyon of Lisbon Falls.
